    i think if it was just that, the lineup would of been posted by now and that the move would of been made. I may be reading too much into it, but i thinking something bigger will happen by 6.

    that would be my guess it seems awfully late to not yet make a move for a 6 pm game.

    he still might clear waivers and accept his minor league assignment. We are in a pennant race and can't make moves on the basis that he might get his act together and help up down the line. We need to have the best possible 12 or 13 pitchers and that does not include balfour. I am sure it wasn't in Doug's plan but I rather have Spurling or Dessens pitch instead of him anytime.

    The last brewers - yankees trade didn't go to well for them it was wickman and gerald williams for listach and lloyd (if you remember listach had to come back and we sent then bones instead) EDIT: just beat me

    here is my theory, gross was sent down first because he couldn't be called up for 10 days. Gwynn will be sent down on wednesday. Hall comes up. after the doubleheader, parra goes back down, and gross comes up.

    man i wish one could swear on this website, so i could fully express my feelings for the cubs. It must really frustrate them that they are playing so well and haven't made up too much ground.

    First of all what Ned said that he will pitch to Barry based on the context of the game. There are times where it doesn't make sense to walk Barry because he is Barry and times it does. Second of all, Barry is not the feared hitter that he once was. Id rather pitch to him than Prince, Howard, or Pujols. Just because he is close to a record doesn't mean that we should be putting runners on base, to avoid history.

    The downtown hilton is a nice choice, i worked there in college. As far as going out after the game, there are some nice bars around the stadium. Fiesta Garabaldi or any other Bluemound Ave bars (Long Wong's, Haggerty's) will be filled with baseball fans after the game. The water street bars are fun but is mostly filled with college kids.     they came last night so i am wearing them to the game tonight. They need to be opened with an alan wrench. I understand not necessary, but its still a cool idea. Would come in handy for summerfest since they don't serve hard liquor on the grounds.

    i got a ps3 but only use it to play video games. I should use it for more media stuff though. I like the show and my only criticism is that it plays just like the ps2 version with somewhat better graphics. The graphics are nowhere near that of 2k7. The game play is good though.
