according to Hollinger's rating system Conley wouldn't be a bad pick at 6 and Hortford is overrated. insider.espn.go.com/nba/d...3dProRater

mlb clubhouse has it, as well as the brewers shop in miller park. It caught my eye while i was shopping at brookfield square too.

not there on my lunch, won't be at best buy till 2. I thought slugfest was pretty fun last season, so i am looking forward to this game.

i Know turnbow blows up sometimes, i still want to go to battle with him. he has had 4-5 bad outings this season, and other than that has gotten the job done. Relievers are not perfect, it just seams that when he blows up, its magnified because it usually costs us a win. I can think of one time this season that i put on Yost (against Philly because he has never been able to throw 2 innings). Villaneuva is a great middle reliever / long man out of the pen. Why do we want to mess with what is working for the most part.

BrewCrewin2004 I couldn't get the bat in the bobblehead after taking out the nut. Did you use glue to get it in there.

it should be in stores around 2 today, i'm going to pick it up today but doubt ill play it all until tomorrow evening.

BC, i'd leave out Milwaukee Brewers all together. You can put Milwaukee on the shirt, but I don't believe you can do Brewers. I know 1250 calls the post game show " Milwaukee's real post game show", thats just something I wouldn't mess with. I think one would get it, if you sold out like that

ill try that, that nut came off last night when i was trying to put the bat on. Didn't think to just not use it.

There was a similar thread for prince, and i was just wondering if others had problems with the hall one. I inspected at my seat to make sure it wasn't broken or anything, but once i got in home and tried to display it on my shelf, the bat wouldn't screw in. It definately looks like the threads are bad on the bat.

not a brewers rant, and this has been covered before but espn is driving me nuts. They are showing the mets 3 times this week. If i lived in a market without a team and could only watch the espn national broadcasts i would go crazy and could not stand the mets, sox, and yankees.

i used this website to convert brewer fever a while back as a ringtone. It works great and only costs the price of a picture message. You just need to set up an account and away you go. mobile17.com/

as far as the 2nd pick go, i know its a toss up, but I became a fan of Curtis Sumpter over the course of last season, what do you guys think about that.

yeah the article states that she stopped talking to them until the parents signed the consent form, and so they did.
  15. patrickgpe
abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?...652&page=1 I really have to question the parents for consenting to this. 16 years old should be enjoying high school not be married. This guy is also one sicko. too weird of a story. 16 year olds don't know what they want, and i think the parents should of held firm instead of signing to appease the daughter.

so the tradition continues, Lewis Black on the 3rd at Summerfest. I think this will be atleast the 5th straight year i saw him at summerfest and it never gets old. Guess i am going to miss finger eleven though.

i thought each team gets 2 representatives.

www.2ksports.com/games/thebigs/ so i got my ps3 and presently the only game i have for it is the show. I really don't play video games as much since i got out of college (i got the show in may and am up to my 10th game in my season). I was a big fan of slugfest and this game seems to resemble it. Is anyone else getting it, I am thinking about picking it up next week when it comes out. For those with the wii, this is the first mlb game on the system. I think it would be a blast on the wii.

Hawing, I think that is a good idea, but I still can see how it can be abused, as others have said. I agree that there are some articles that will generate no discussion, while posters still may feel that need to start a separate thread for whatever reason. I like the idea of the tracker, its a good way to keep all the articles from this season inone place so that they may be found at a later time. I believe all articles found should be placed there. I just think the ones that can generate 20+ responses in the thread should have there own. Maybe we should go with hawings idea and see how it works. It would be kind of like the draft threads, where there is one only for picks, and one for any specific discussion among posters.

First off let me say that if Brian and the mods want to continue to place each and every article regarding the brewers in one thread that is fine. My feeling is that it has its place when outside newspapers or espn does a piece on the team. When local writers though write editorials I think it should have its own thread because it will garnish more attention in its own thread and its a piece that will have more feedback then just people respondings " its nice to get national attention, nice piece of writing". To me when articles are written in the future calling for future moves to be made or responding to them, i would make more sense to me to have them in their own thread. While its close i think Gerry Woeffels last 2 articles on the team are more editorials than just articles, and would make for some decent discussion in its own thread. Just what i feel.

I admit i have been checking him out daily trying to get bucks stuff from him, but then he goes and continues to write dumb articles about the brewers. www.journaltimes.com/nucl...emid=13795 Apparently he feels that the brewers recent success combined with YoGo's major league debut had little to due with the large attendance and it was more due to Bonds. I think it may of helped, but last year we weren't getting 35k when Barry Bonds was here. Unforunatelyfor Gerry's argument the brewers only averaged 23429 fans in 5 home games against the giants last season.

yeah i used it only for stats, guess there is a lot more too it, great now i have another way to waste time at work.

from bill simmons 6. Milwaukee Bucks Here's the Eastern team that could make a quantum leap next season: The Bucks only have to re-sign Mo Williams, get Bobby Simmons healthy and use this sixth pick on Brandan Wright and they're good to go. Stick those three with Charlie Villanueva, Andrew Bogut and Michael Redd and that's a pretty sweet nucleus on paper, although they definitely need to sign a crazy Australian 12th man who calls everyone "Mate" and gives Bogut someone to drink with. I'm not a huge Wright fan, but he's a shifty inside scorer with deceivingly long arms (well, when he's trying) and the Bucks desperately need inside scoring, as well as someone who won't make Villanueva feel so bad for mailing in every fourth game. Also, Wright is so damned long that Jay Bilas might start flogging himself in delight during the draft. Man, is Brandan Wright long. That is one long dude. The VP's verdict: Take Wright, re-sign Williams and pursue Gasol for Bogut and a 2008 No. 1. sports.espn.go.com/espn/p...ons/070620

latest mock has us taking Jeff Green nbadraft.net/ If the mock holds up like the actual draft I would take Conley or Brewer over Green in a heartbeat.
