    this will be easier to discuss tonight, but I have officially changed my position that if we get the #1 pick we should take Odom. Previously I said Durant, only because we need a 3 and have a center. Bogut is still too soft for me, and to take Durant cause he may be mad that we have another center doesn't make sense. Odom will bring a presence inside that they don't have now. that being said i rank the draft board 1. Odom 2. Durant 3. Hortford 4. Brewer 5. Jianlian 6. B. Wright.

    the early returns on the trade is looking very good. DD has been decent for the d-backs but his w-l record does not reflect that. The other 2 have been busts so far.

    not sure why, it wasn't really his choice to leave and he has done alot for this franchise, if he plays tomorrow ill cheer him. Still don't know why players like Brady Clark come back and get booed though. Lee I can understand (even though I didn't)

    i am fine with it. Weeks and Hall needs a day off. The way the roster is, the only way to do this is to play Counsell and Graffy.

    something needs to be done to spice things up. TGJ will be in the lineup. Mench has stuggled of late. Id drop Weeks to 6th today and bat Gwynn leadoff. Today is the day for Ben to prove he is the ace of this staff. All is not lost in beerville. We are only 1/2 game behind the best in the NL. We knew things were going to come down a little bit from where we were a week ago, I just dont think many would of though it would of been like this.

    I actually will listen to Homer on baseball stuff over anyone else in this market. and he has been doing more all brewers all the time sportstalk.

    While there averages are about the same; Prince Fielder and Ryan Garko OPS's that differ by about 200 pints. If you walk more you have a better chance to score and obviously you have a better chance helping your team if you are hitting homers and doubles rather than just singles.

    this is the first time I am saying this for Suppan, but he needs to earn his contract tonight and pitch great. We need to stop this streak now. The top of the rotation needs to carry us in times like this.

    good thing i wasn't near a computer last night, but Turnbow has never done well in 2 pitch outings. Therefore Villaneuva or Cordero should of came in the 8th. I know the double switch doesn't really make too much sense. Turnbow came in and had a good 8th. Why would you bring him out for a second inning. I blame this one on Nedly.
