  1. i think it is a fair statement to say its a sad day when someone dies. Its sad for his family and his friends, while you may not be bothered by it one way or another. Its really not appropriate on the day of a man's passing to go around and bash what he has done and what he has said through his life, which is all that was done after that initial post. Besides that saying it is a sad day does not have any religious or political overtones, everything after that did.
  2. and i thought czaben read brewerfan.net. darn
  3. and what makes you think that T-bow would of done better if he started the inning. you will never know, i think his mental state may be different with the bases empty than 2 runners in scoring position. HE obviously did not have good stuff at all today, so my point may be pointless, but considering how long it has been since turnbow got in, he should of came in to get some work anyway.
  4. Its taken about an hour to cool down after the lost, and obviously there were mistakes made. Since Turnbow has had not pitched in 5 days, he should of came in to start the 8th. Then to not bring in Cordero when you needed him is another terrible move. That being said, this team has responded very well to tough losses all season, so lets see what happens tomorrow. We are still 6 1/2 games up on first and 13 games over 500.
  5. hardy continues doing what he does, we could be up for a really big inning if it wasnt for that sb attempt
  6. Mets coming back on teh Cubs, would be nice to get the cubbies a lost tongiht.
  7. that would of been a run, which is why it wasn't worth the risk with noone out.
  8. obviously wise is going to start the 7th but with a lefty leading off teh 7th you would think that may be Shouse territory..
  9. atleast Bergmann didn't blow up after surrendering the homer which tends to happen.
  10. come matty just one more, do we see cv in the 7th or wise for another inning?
  11. quick hook by Yost, he seems to have learned from mistakes in the past with bush.
  12. no no broke up with a homer by McCann
  13. with only 66 pitches so far, i would think he would pitch the 7th too.
  14. yeah those crafty lefties always seems to give us trouble.
  15. Bergmann looks pretty good tonight
  16. still only down by 1, and bush gets out of it
  17. yeah the brewers give some out to draw up interest before the event. This is nothing new. I think they do it for most promotions.
  18. looks like billy is coming around a little
  19. it looked pretty bad, it appears it got him on the knee. Although he stayed in, lets see if it stiffins up once he sits back down.
  20. updated draft here is an updated draft. They have us taking Moskos. From what I hear about him, I like him. He is an advanced lefty power arm. Do you guys think he can be a starter.
