My liver will also take one for the team: For every run the Brewers score from this point on, I will drink a shot of tequila, it being Cinco De Mayo and all ok off topic but once i drank a bottle of cuevo while tailgating and that was the longest game of my life also i havent been able to drink it all since. guess its for the best, i'll have a cerona to celebrate though
so the hog is doing a classic rock stage on the south end of the grounds this year to replace the rock stage. This sucks (even though that what it basically was last year). Guess I am hanging out at the connection stage this year. Lineup announced on Monday though
this game really hurts. Getting thrown out at home twice, and Yost leaving Bush in too long cost us the game. I didn't go through this whole thread, but I have no idea why even after the first homer he left him in to give up #2 and still let him finish the inning. If Yost wouldn't of let Wise pitch 2 innings on wednesday, he could of did the 7th. I know Yost has done an excellent job so far this year, but this one was not his greatest. Hopefully the team responds well tonight
I think we could use a 3rd basemen if either they decide not to bring up Braun or he falters once brought up. As said before I would like to see another veteran reliever. Baring an injury, I dont see anything else as of now.
my celebration is slightly tempered to most only cause we swept a very distracted Cardinals team. They have shown signs of this all 3 games. That being said, this is awesome to beat the cards and still have the best record in the bigs. Hopefully we can keep it up over the weekend.
That Bernie shirt is weak. The use of profanity doesn't make it funny--just tasteless. I agree it may be funny but you can't wear that around the stadium with kids around.
I assume you are advocating those call ups. I would bring up Cappy but Sarfarte has yet to show he can pitch strikes. You also don't know what Cappy's mindset would be if he were to be called up.
