  1. Here’s a question, I want to pick up Buffalo’s defense on waivers to hold on (not play this week). The 2 options to cut are tank dell or roschon Johnson. I think I have equal depth at wr or rb so position isn’t really a consideration. my thought is Johnson, I have Jonathon Taylor on pup, and like I said my depth for receivers and backs are both ok. a guy in my league cut the bills for the bengals today because they have a tough matchup against Miami this weekend but that is so short sided.
  2. They have a lot of possibilities. Portis could play the 3 or 4. Connaughton can play 2 or 3. If griffin wants he has a ton of lineup combos at his disposal
  3. There are reports tonight that they are looking at Payne. Not sure how he fits in cap wise but if he came in on a people deal, it would be awesome
  4. What I like about the roster in its current shape is they have some guys like Connaughton, Green, and Washington that has the potential to score a bunch off of the bench on the cheap. Also you have Jackson that is an elite defender that could do some things that Holliday did off of the bench. Beauchamp is another 3 and D guy off of the bench. They seem to have more depth than they have had in past seasons.
  5. Dame, Beasily, Middleton, Giannis, Brook Lopez
  6. They have options. TyTy Washington, AJ Green shooting off the bench. Beasily / Jackson playing D off of the bench. Moore seems like an exciting UDFA as well.
  7. maybe you misunderstood. They did this to keep Giannis and I'm glad they did. If they sat idle and Giannis left after the 24-25 season, it would be ugly. I don't care about picks while Giannis is here or swaps for obvious reasons. Also if he wins another chip or 2, I can live without draft picks for a while, they rarely help right away anyway.
  8. Yes but that was to pay current obligations. What may make sense if that if it can be figured out what Milwaukee gets in revenue for the Brewers being here and a large portion of that goes to the upkeep. The rest can ticket charge for fans using the stadium. The state, county and Brewers have seemed to be more open to paying for this. IDK its for smarter people than me to figure out.
  9. bucks will do WHATEVER they have to to keep him happy and here. If he leaves its honestly the 90's all over again. They are in salary cap hell with a bunch of aging stars and no picks for the rest of the decade that they have full control of.
  10. I get why the bucks made this trade. I get why the blazers made this trade, along the hopes to flip holiday. I don't see whats in it for the suns. They traded away Ayton and lasts 2nd, for spare parts (Nurkic, Allen, Little, Keon Johnson)
  11. cap hit on LIlliard this year is 45MM, holiday ~37MM, allen ~9MM. just means one more minimum salary guy on the bench.
  12. #1 - should show Giannis that the bucks are serious about winning. #2 - same age as Holiday for a 2029 1st, 2 swaps, and Allen. Seems like an OK trade by me.
  13. i get that but there is a shared revenue formula from the state. the more money the state gets in income tax = the more money the city gets.
  14. Here is a summary: https://newstalk1130.iheart.com/featured/common-sense-central/content/2023-09-26-exclusive-not-an-accident-brewers-owner-leading-as-relocation-committee/?fbclid=IwAR1d4eAnoOTiXbaqLtRTaL-tsP6gw9o9IWLjNyTuX5styV1i2Qs9_7M6XTk it does state that the sources think the chances are still remote.
  15. I get the city is broke. They are the largest financial benefactors of the brewers (besides the brewers ownership of course). Their take that the brewers / state should pay for the stadium renovations and we will just sit back and collect our income / sales tax money is kind of skill.
  16. Yes, I get the game. Brewers are playing good cop. MLB playing bad cop. Its convenient that it came out just after the city said they want to pay 0 dollars for the renovations.
  17. I tried to copy the tweet, but that wasn't working. Dan O'Donnell reporting that the brewers not getting a stadium deal and leaving is a larger possibility than most fans think.
  18. the question is what can you get for him. He did have 15 pts in my league last week so he put up numbers in his absence. I'd hold unless someone overpays.
  19. I was thinking mims was my priority ww add this week, but you have to take a look at Jerome Ford. Breida is an ok option but Barkley will be back soon and I’m not certain Jaylon Reed will get the touches once Watson is back.
  20. You probably have to wait for Kupp to return in week 5 to be certain, but owners can definitely start him the next 2 weeks.
