  1. There is some space between brewers and bucks. The brewers and packers have statewide appeal, I don't think the bucks really do.
  2. First of all, a tournament where all that is on the line is some money for players doesn't really interest me. MLB would be harder to pull off than NBA, it would probably have to be best of 3 series, at least in the knockout rounds. Group play could really be in a pod where games are played in 1 or 2 stadiums.
  3. he should be in the mix for the backend of the rotation
  4. Great defensive performance by Wisconsin, I’ll tip my hat to them.
  5. I acquired DK Metcalf earlier this season, and am facing the guy who made the deal with me this week, us both needing wins to lockup playoff spots. His 37 points should help me greatly!
  6. Burnes won the cy young his last year before he was eligible for arbitration and he was rewarded with 6.5 million. last year he made 10.1 which is the average of the deal for a kid who has done nothing above double A. I don't hate the move, but there is risk on both sides by doing it. (Chourio leaving money on the table / brewers getting stuck with a bad deal).
  7. yes. no incentive to hold him back. if he wins ROY, brewers get an extra 1st round pick basically.
  8. Give it time, they switched point guards right before camp and have a rookie coach
  9. They may have lost, but they made a statement this week that they are going to be a factor in late March and early April. The increase in their sos will help and they will move up to at least 3 on Monday in the rankings. they lost by 3 which was a 70ft halftime prayer. I won’t get too upset about todays results
  10. They were down by 12 against ucla also. I’d like for them to win but it honestly isn’t a huge deal. Beating Kansas was the mission, this is a bonus
  11. Big test of the bucks tonight, 2 best teams in the east’s first matchup. Will see where the bucks are. Both teams completed changed their identity right before training camp, so i get both teams are learning how to play together. would be nice to get a W though.
  12. This will only be the 11th time a team played 1 and 2 on consecutive nights, with only 1 team upsetting both. (Loyala - Chicago in 72)
  13. According to some here Marquette isn’t even a Wisconsin team, so idk
  14. Down goes #1 Kansas!
  15. Looking forward to seeing how MU stacks up in the Maui Invitational. 3 of the #1 seeds in the latest ESPN bracketology is in the tourney. Besides Chaminade, every team but Syracuse is projected to be in the field of 68.
  16. Looks like no one was interested, this is what I figured would happen
  17. Yes once bauers was acquired, writing was on the wall
  18. It’s 6pm, which is the deadline, does that mean he was non-tendered?
  19. anther boring trade, I assume he was another non-tender candidate and the brewers wants to take a look at him at 1st.
  20. to be fair he did get a new number
  21. This is one of those things where I’m glad both parties worked together to get it done. Using income tax revenue and a tax on concerts meant that there was no tax on the residents of the state or the 5 county area and we can enjoy brewers baseball until at least 2050
  22. That trade was horrible for the Mariners and Brewers, probably both want to forget it and move on
  23. Decided to make that my new signature
  24. The pitcher coming back has a strong last name, but that’s about it. Toro wasn’t impressive in his few opportunities, so I’m sure the Brewers weren’t going to tender him anyway . getting a reliever to send to the lab was the best return they were going to get
