  1. Do you think it’s smart to put in a claim for Jayden reed, I’d probably have to release Deandre Hopkins
  2. I get it’s a bad deal for the taxpayers, owners have always used charlotte, Nashville, las Vegas as threats to get what they want. I don’t it’s bad public money spent. The players do pay taxes on what they earn here and it overall contributes to a positive experience of living here. Cities that have pro teams are looked at differently than bigger cities that do not. It would be great for every city to get out of the stadium business but that will never happen. I hope this can get figured out
  3. This is good, but has the city and county said that they will chip in 200 million.
  4. #1 if its 5 million dollars, that is a small portion of the 300 million needed in roof repairs. #2 past politicians created the sweetheart deal where they get a stadium in the top 25% of all stadiums and the taxpayers are on the hook. Brewers aren't going to pay for repairs that they aren't responsible for.
  5. I totally agree, its not that obtrusive and is blue, so it doesn't stand out like some patches (bucks - HD)
  6. Northwestern mutual patch per Dan o’donnell. Starts tonight
  7. I agree that this is the most likely outcome, i'll reserve comment until I see it.
  8. Swift also got a bunch of late in the 4th quarter points which really helped me.
  9. Let the speculation begin, I don't think it has to do with any FA promotions or the WTMJ article already said it wasn't related the stadium funding. I'm guessing some kind of new sponsorship agreement.
  10. https://wtmj.com/breaking-news/2023/09/15/developing-brewers-to-make-a-significant-business-announcement/ MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers will hold a press conference this morning to make what they are calling a “significant business announcement”. Not much is known about what the announcement will be, though it is not likely related to the on-going discussions over stadium funding.
  11. Decided at the last minute to start swift and bench Pacheco. I love having some action on Thursday’s to follow and with gainwell out swift should get the lions share of the Carrie’s. If he can’t, there is no reason for me to keep him anymore
  12. Because I’m only posting Marquette people and got in first?
  13. I'm just here to fill up this page with MU images
  14. i know a guy that posts a screen shot of his on FB and sometimes leaves the tabs open for his searches to fill it out :)
  15. If Brewer fans didn't sell their tickets to Cubs fans, then it wouldn't be an issue, but they always seem to do that.
  16. Kenneth Gainwell, or if Gus Edwards is there
  17. Torn ACL, out for the year. I know you never want a player to get hurt. I know he has done so much for Packer organization. But all of the hype, hard knocks and they got 4 plays out of it. IF Rodgers was really leaning towards retirement and the Packers still got a pick swap, a 6th and 2 2nds, thats pretty good. Devasting for the Jets to give up that much draft capital and cap space and they got nothing out of it.
  18. I'm not saying a 2nd is as good as a 1st, but if they get say 45 instead of 28, there is still a good chance of getting an impactful player.
  19. They have a great defense and have great WR's and RBS, i think they are a middling team without Rodgers. If they had somewhat respectable o-line I think they could have been fine without him.
