  1. Before anyone judges this proposal, it should be known what the 290MM would be spent on. Is it new plumbing? Heating system for more winter events? An entertainment district. Thats kind of a big part of the issue. I have no issue with spending surplus on ensuring the team stays and has a nice facility. In return the state does get all of that income tax revenue as well. Respecting the boards long ago ban on political discussion, I'll leave my comments at that.
  2. Good win, Wednesday is going to be a huge game.
  3. Doesn’t look like Beverley will be cut anyway, but Burks would be as good. Noel / dedmon would help inside
  4. Really the only 2 I’d want no part of ( minus hill and Ibaka which aren’t coming here) is wall and Westbrook. I’d love Beverley.
  5. yeah clearing spots for buyout candidates is a underrated part of the moves today.
  6. The biggest issue is that the bucks are running out of assets to trade in the offseason or 2024 trade deadline. GP2 was also just traded for 5 2nds. Its crazy how little GMs care about 2nd rounders.
  7. 2nd rd picks can be purchased during every draft, plenty of teams don't have the roster / cap space for them. So trading them isn't that big of a deal.
  8. Ibaka and Hill to Pacers as well.
  9. If the trade deadline only does some kind of Rose trade, that would be disappointing. I know they don't need much, but I cant' see him helping much and would rather have Carter as the backup PG in the playoffs anyway. Plus looking at salaries on ESPN it would have to include Allen (so his 3's off the bench are gone) and probably Hill and/or Ibaka, which I doubt the Knicks even would want.
  10. thanks for the information, I may have gotten poor intel from a friend.
  11. heading into the butler game they were #1 in offensive efficiency in the nation. Saturday was their worst played game of the year, so you can't judge much by it. Even going into the game, Donny Marshall said that this is a classic let down game for MU, and they pulled off the win. they are still 4th in the country in offensive efficiency after that clunker as well.
  12. i understand i am tossing 15 dollars away, but from what i have been told, when i am out of town on business or vacation, the ballys app will not wok outside of my zip code, also some have complained about the quality of the stream.
  13. There are models that work which fans are not taken to the woodchipper. For example, gone are the days of 50 dollars for a PPV for WWE (F), now its 5 dollars a month for a peacock subscription and you get any PLE for that month. Ballys is basically doing this already, charging 20 dollars a month to watch the brewers, the issue with this is that in addition to a TBTV or hulu live account if you enjoy watching more than just the brewers in the summer. The perfect answer is a return of something similar to midwest sports channel, a way to watch the brewers with any cable subscription. I don' t mind paying for premium content (the ability to watch the brewers, but don't appreciate being gauged. (I just changed from youtube tv to direct tv stream this week, and the bill went from 65 dollars to 100, and really only getting ballys as an extra chanel.
  14. My YouTube tv subscription expires tomorrow, I switched backed to direct tv stream tonight. Was going to do it for the brewers season anyway.
  15. Just saw notice that mlb network is leaving YouTube tv. That’s very said because it was the only in season national coverage I could tolerate
  16. i am not doubting it isn't a done deal. Hopefully its on par with the addition of Tucker. It just seems like the Suns are playing hardball with not much of an upper hand.
  17. I loved Jae Crowder when he was at Marquette, but I am over getting him via trade. He hasn't played all season, so doubtful he would contribute until playoff time anyway. The Suns seem to have a massive price tag for a player that has no value to him. I think their latest offer of Nwora, Hill, Ibaka, and a 2nd is more than fair. You get a young player with some promise and a draft pick. Also read they don't want Allen and want something else. Will be interesting to see what the Suns do, but I hope the picks don't up their offer anymore.
  18. The Adames trade was in season, so obviously he would be asked shortly after reporting his thoughts about joining the brewers. Contreras was not, so there is no need for him to speak until pitchers and catchers report, which I assume he will be positive about the trade in a few weeks once he is in Arizona.
  19. once again the 2 Vegas favorites won the rumble
  20. Nothing will beat edge coming back in 2020. Also AJ styles a few years back. You are right the surprise debut in the rumble is the best
  21. Ballys is a horrible company who has made it very difficult for fans to watch their teams games, so obviously them going bankrupt is a good thing. As others said, if MLB expanded their at bat to include in market games, would be excellent. It would take some times for the brewers to do it on their own, plus then the bucks would have to do the same. I just miss the days of the Midwest Sports Channel, it was so much easier.
  22. Maybe no teams reached out to his agent about interest?

  24. Tomorrow should be fun. It’s DePaul’s first sell-out in their new arena (for any event). I will assume it will be a blue and gold takeover.
  25. I always felt that tomorrow is New Years Day on the pro wrestling calendar. The Rumble has lost a lot of its shine with the IWC leaking everything, the ability to predict the winners almost every year and the general lack of surprise entrances from retired wrestlers. That being said, I still enjoy the pay per view more than even Wrestlemania. While I am really looking forward to Bray Wyatt vs LA Knight’s gimmick match, the 2 RR matches should be good. I will again predict no surprises and go with Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes. I could also see Lesnar winning. If I had to pick a different female, I’d go with Rodriguez. Also will be interesting to see how the Sami Zahn and Bloodline storyline advances. I think the biggest surprise entrant will be Stone Cold since it’s back in Texas. I know a lot of people are saying Rock, but I do not think that will be in the works.
