Changing alchol sales through the 8th because games are moving faster seems shortsided. I know that is the policy for Wrigley, In theory though someone could buy a beer with 1 out left in the 8th, Devin shuts down the road team 1-2-3 in the 9th and now that fan has to slam it since they can't take it with them or hang out in the park until its gone.

I’d rather the brewers wouldn’t trade international pool bonus money for bottom of the roster guys, but obviously this is nothing to get worked up over good or bad.

Definitely not a game for FOX to show during a prime viewing time of the day. The odd / disappointing thing is that the first Saturday in December is typically UW - MU, so that will have to be moved.

Packers are kind of being held hostage until the Rodgers trade is complete. Really only signed ST Free Agents to date.

Itejere, Ellis, and Wrightsill have all entered the transfer portal which fixes the issue of being 1 scholarship over the max and gives MU one extra one if a big guy is in the transfer portal that appeals to them.

I think you should be able to get a top 50 and top 100 prospect for Burnes. I threw in Kumar. Even if they just got Jung and Leiter, Id be happy. Settles the 3rd base issue and gives them a starter. Maybe thats asking too much, idk. -

At county stadium they would dip the hotdog in secret stadium sauce and put it in fresh in the bun. Now that was a hotdog, compared to whatever is going on how inside the stadium. Like others said, its not the price, and we aren't asking for food quality as good as the Ritz Carlton, but at least something appealing for your money.

kind of what I expected. Reduce the price of beer 50 decent and brag about it. My favorite quote is: "We don't want anybody to say they can't come to a Brewers game because of price," Rick Schlesinger, Brewers president of business operations, said at a Monday news conference., Which doesn't seem to acknowledge its still very expensive to take your family to a game.

Shaka named USBWA coach of the year. https://gomarquette.com/news/2023/3/22/mens-basketball-shaka-smart-named-usbwa-coach-of-the-year Clearly his history in March isn't the best, but considering where this program was under Wojo, I don't think there can be many MU fans not happy that he isn't Marquette's coach.

I heard rumblings a few seasons back that he was not doing any games once his son graduated. I remember Bill doing games as far as with Paschke, so this was inevitable. -
Its crazy to me that the Jets would give up their 13th for 1 yr of Rodgers. A 13/15 swap and a 3rd seems fair.

I think the Packers have the leverage. They have their 2023 QB, Jets do not and all Jet fans now are expecting A-Rod. Packers can be as tough as they want to be as long as they know their is a chance they will get nothing, if he just retires instead of waiting.

He is announcing his decision on a podcast, which is similar to on ESPN. I guess yes its a little different due to age and that he isn't a FA, but its still out of the norm to announce if you will accept a trade on any media, most people jut get traded. If they have the ability to not accept, it just doesn't happen.

A friend mentioned last night that this is no different than "The Decision" which was as bad of a PR move that any athlete has ever made, and I can't agree more.
