I have been looking at Estrada's splits a lot and it seems like he does much better 6th or 7th.

 

Just based off watching and or being at most games I would venture a guess and say it doesn't seem like he does better at 6th or 7th, he plain does better at 6th or 7th.

 

I think Ned continues to hit him 5 just to irritate us.
