Okay, who's the idiot at FSN who keeps trying to kill me?

I agree - they had the damn camera pointed at the smokestacks waiting for it to hit! The cameraman thought it was in the river!

At 107 pitches, Larussa lets Kip "5.57 ERA" Wells pitch to Ramirez with 2 on in the 7th and he gives up a single to score a run.

Thank you CoCo. (and the baseball gods!)

We won by about two feet.

I'll take it.

Attacking hitters isn't an inherently better strategy as a reliever unless you're up multiple runs. It pays to be selective like Villanueva when you're only up 1 on run or tied. That's why he's so good in those situations, and they happen to be the situations which are the most pivotal.

I agree with you on CV. As for Turnbow, he has the stuff to attack hitters, moreover he had a 3 run lead to work with. His big problem is usually with the walks. Yesterday, he did a great job attacking Reds hitters in a tied game.

Very nice Win, go Brewers!
