take a look at the Cubs' lineup that they're running out today...

if the Dbacks can't find a way to win this game (Webb on the mound, against Marquis), the Cubs may not lose until the season's over

Go Dbacks!!

Last I checked, Soriano and Ramirez are not bums. Neither are Theriot or Fontenot. Plus, Jones has been coming on as of late.

No one said that the ENTIRE lineup was bad... but that bottom of the order is pretty pathetic.

Is that the Cubs' forfeit lineup?

Watching this game so far, I can't believe we lost to Arizona. Even if Webb no-hits the Cubs, I think Arizona will still lose.

I was actually at the Cubs game yesterday. I can't believe we wanted Dave Roberts. Without Bonds that lineup was brutal. The dbacks lineup regardless of what anyone thinks is much improved and with Webb pitching they have a pretty good chance.

Chris Young just put the D-Backs on top 2-1.

At least the same guys on the D-Backs that got us are getting the Cubs, too.

I absolutely despise Aramis Ramirez. Most Brewer killers just do it against the Brewers. He does it against any team that we need to beat them.

And just like that, they're up 3-2.

Yeah it has been frustrating watching the Cubs lately. Seems the other team makes 2-3 errors a game against them and every little flair hit finds a hole. Thats usually what makes up big winning streaks though, at some point the luck turns and they start to lose a lot of these close games again instead of winning almost every one.

THREE errors by the D'backs!!!! Are we sure ESPN isn't paying off the Cubs competition so they have something to talk about every night on Baseball Tonight now that the Yankees are done!?

What on EARTH is it about playing the Cubs lately that makes every freaking team in the league commit errors at a rapid rate, and acquire a sudden inability to hit Jason Marquis? Seriously, I realize the Cubs are hot, but EVERYONE is giving them breaks. It's not even that the Cubs are playing that amazing, but everyone is playing terrible against them.

This is the second game in a row where the opposition committed 3 errors against the Cubs. But what comes around goes around.

I'll take some responsibility for that. Doug Davis tends to do well in games I attend.

It's tempting to ponder the "error payoff" theory.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Do you guys remember the days, not so long ago, when it seemed like we couldn't win a game to save our life, but it didn't seem to matter because at the end of the day, we knew the Cubs would also lose anyway?

Also what is with Theriot and Fontenot? Were these guys even prospects that anyone thought twice about? Now they are virtually impossible to get out.
