Capuano to the Red Sox?

Oops...should note that it's not three years of service time for the optional waivers, but three years since first appearance on a major league roster. In any event all three pitchers more than qualify.

SoCal is posting on Brewerfan.net in 1927! Or 2027...either way, he's obviously come up with a time machine.

He's going to stop the depression. Genius!

Except now how many of us will cease to even exist?

Anyway, I have to think at least half the teams would claim Capuano. Many are hurting pretty badly for starting pitching, so they'd be all over a lefty with Capuano's history.

If the question of asking for waivers is correct (see above), someone should tell Hardicourt. I read again today that Vargas is the only guy out of options who would need to clear waivers to be sent down. He must not understand the policy either because he hasn't pointed out once that others have options but would need to go through waivers.

Not the first time & it certainly won't be the last that Haudricourt is nowhere near being informative or even just correct. It's ok, maybe once he's been on the beat for 10+ years he might put the effort in to learn the nuances.
