I hope FSN scheduled more time for this game than usual with Clordio going 4 or 5 innings. Might be watching the game until 2 in the morning.

I know Spring Stats don't mean that much, but looking at Cappy, Bush's, and Soup's stats are gross. Who would have thought Claudio would be pitching the best out of all of them, I didn't. But then again like I said it doesn't really matter because spring success doesn't translate into regular season success.

i am more worried about Cappy and Bush then Soup. I would imagine that Soup isnt really going all out being the grizzled vet that he is, plus he isnt pitching for a job.

The only reason Suppan isn't pitching for his job is because of his salary. I would say Cappy and Bush are probably better than Suppan. If you're worried about Cappy and Bush you should be worried about Suppan as well imo.

you miss the point, Soup is out there just stretching his arm, so he probably isnt throwing hard, or his better stuff right now. True Soup makes the most and thats why he is gurenteed a spot, if he wasnt i would imagine he would be pitching differently. On the other hand Cappy and Bush are going all out pitching for a job and getting hit around.

There is no point. Cappy and Bush are stretching their arms too, every pitcher is. Every pitcher is still getting a feel for their pitches, every pitcher is working on their control, every pitcher starts out throwing fastballs and then starts working in their breaking stuff.

please tell me this game will be in HD. it's too bad the first time of the year on TV has Vargas starting, but at least the game will last a long time!

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for the game tonight. I feel a bit disconnected being down here in Texas, so watching the game will be a blast. I may even pop open a Miller Light or two or three.

I may be "misremembering" a la Andy Pettite here, but I thought you told me last year that you dont drink?

I don't drink a lot...just once in a while. Special occasions, if you will.

Gotchya - well the Brew Crew on tv in mid-march at night qualifies as a special occasion to me, so enjoy!

We're back! Man I was having withdrawals for a minute. Anyway.

MLB.tv has undergone a revamp for this season, and it looks good so far.
