The difference in the game is their CF lays out to prevent two runs from scoring and our 2B couldn't execute a medium difficulty DP.

Part of me thinks that Rickie would be doing better if he wasn't hitting 8th and the opposing pitcher actually had a reason to throw him strikes, but I could be wrong.

At some point Yost has to start giving Tony G some starts at second base. Rickie is completely killing us right now. I am about as confident with him at the plate as I am with one of our pitchers.

Miller now has 13 hits in his last 6 games. Weeks has 12 hits in his last 22 games. Yuck.

It's time to either give Counsell and Graffanino more starts or call-up Callix Crabbe and see what he can do. We can't afford to let Weeks give us 4 or 5 unproductive at-bats every game.

Rickie is batting 2-36 (.055), 15 K's, 4 BB's in his last 10 games. Yuck, Rickie can't be this bad.... I don't know what he can do, but he has to change something.

Rickie's sure been cold since his 2nd or 3rd game off the DL. At least his defense is solid, but at this point Graffy or Counsell provide more on offense. Hopefully the 4 day break works wonders for him. Heck, I'd start Counsell tomorrow to give Rickie 5 days off.

With Dmitri running, they would have had a shot. I think Rickie should have at least fielded it and they would have gotten an out and saved a run. It was would have taken a good play to glove it but not a web gem.
