Very impressed that Yost pinch hit for Gross there, it should be a no brainer but he just hasn't been yanking Gross/Mench enough late in games.

Right, but there was no reason to put Gwynn in the lineup. Hart or Gross could just have played CF.

well i think thats a little different. we didn't get to see how hart would have hit against kim, but I think it's a stretch to say he definitely would have hit that HR off of the tough right hander.

 

I'm just glad yost finally pinch hit for an outfielder late in the game...

Why is Capellan even in the game? This is stupid. It should have been Villanueva or Turnbow, but we all know Turnbow/Cordero can't pitch in a tie game.
