Hopefully getting some homework done and maybe even some grocery shopping. Stupid grad school. Stupid life responsibilities. I just want to retire and watch baseball everyday.

Wow that's my dream as well... I am still holding out waiting to win the lottery

Listening to the new Portishead album, and eating some malted milk balls.

No Playdoh or Elmer's Glue?

Anyways, I'm throwing together some half-assed chart that I hope will slightly appease my crazy professor when I go in to discuss my thesis revision tomorrow afternoon. Probably gonna watch some basketball, and revel in the fact that House is back on TV (albeit an old episode).

I started a new job today. I was really looking forward to watching a game tonight, then at about 2pm I realized today was a day off. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

I guess I'll watch the NCAA Championship Game or wrestling instead.

Get out of here, you dream about watching baseball everyday too? Would've never guessed that, this being a baseball fan forum and all.

Anyway, just got off work, about to go work out and then go watch the NCAA championship. I'll make it through the day without the Brewers. Wasn't long ago we had 6 months to wait.

There is one who posted just a bit above you. Seems to me she's a big baseball fan. Don't know if she's single or not....but you never know.

Enjoy grad school while you can. It's the one time of my life that I wish went longer than it did.

Anyways... today I worked. Tonight... I'll be pullin' the work laptop out shortly and - you guessed it - work some more.

Of course, first I have to take the dog out on his nightly walk.

Darn straight. I liked my first four years of grad school so much I'm looking into going back for another four.

The poverty sucks, though. No more health insurance on the parents' plan because you're too old, and no $15 an hour food service job as your work all has to be toward your degree.

I'll hopefully be lucky, as the GF will be done with grad school in a year, so I'll hopefully have a sugar momma this time around.

Mmm...malted milk balls.

B19, you can revise your thesis this close to graduation? Or is it not a big revision? Or did your graduation date change?

Two of my student employees have their birthdays this week and tonight I made a treat for them. That's right, home baked goodies on your birthday if you work for me.

Before sunset I did some raking outside. Our yard is dense with plants instead of grass, and I want the emerging bulbs to not be suffocated by the mat of leaves over everything.

I'm pumped about going back for Round 2 myself in a few more years.

At work today, I was actually going through my thesis since a LOT of the stuff I did then is very applicable to what I'm up to now. I really missed grad school at that point.

But I agree - the being poor part wasn't that much fun, although I'm trying to figure out a way around that to get my employer to pick up the tab for the PhD...

This reminds me of when I was younger and I would pretend it was my birthday to get free ice-cream around town. (Not to say your students are lying).

Anyway today involved some bike riding, listening to the Huntsville game, watching a little of the Yankees and now watching Kansas/Memphis. It's a tough life.

So I saw a female Police Officer this weekend and I walked by and said "Lady in blue, comin' through." I'm not sure she got it. I was probably close to getting tazered...

Curling up in a ball and wishing there was Brewers baseball. Dreaming of tomorrow night at the keg.

Laundry, Grocery shopping, late night at work. Recover from long Baseball filled weekend.

Yeah, I get their birthdates when they fill out the employment formage - so they really can't fake it.
