Vargas should get to face at least one more batter with the way he's pitching. I'd let him pitch as deep into the inning as he can, actually...when's the next time he's scheduled to pitch?

I get the argument about not having Hall switch with Braun coming up at the same time, but I guess I would have left him at 3rd when Koskie was out for the season. You don't know when they'll bring up Braun and who may go down in the meantime. I just don't see the reason to rush Hall to the OF. We're loaded out there

Yeah, I could be convinced to see it the other way, it just hasn't worked out that way yet, so it's easier to see him at third. I hope it does work out in the long run. We'll never know the other way.

Edit- He also faced the minimum because Sosa got picked off after walking. So as close to a perfect game as possible without actually being perfect.
