What happened to us being good?

I dunno. I'm hoping this isn't a case of the good ol' fashioned 'we think we're better than we actually are' syndrome.

Are we overvaluing Weeks, Hart, Hardy, and Fielder? Can they be everyday big league hitters right now? We'll find out soon, but I know a lot of us thought so going into this year with a lot of expectations.

The Brewers are playing bad because of all the negative vibes with all the Cubs fans at Miller Park http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Watching this game so far seems just like watching way too many other games from the last 10 years.

So Zambrano has great stuff. Does that mean Weeks has to swing at the first pitch every single time? Between last night & tonight I think he's been down 0-1 every AB. Drop a bunt. Lean into a pitch. Shoot, just take one. Unbelievable.

I love this team, but what happened to that really good 2-strike approach from ST & the Dodgers series? Right now their 2-strike approach is swing & miss.

This has the making of one of those 3-1 losses where Sheets' "lack of winning ability" costs the Brewers a win. That, and their crummy run support.

ach. I had hoped our offense was past these team-wide swoons.

Though to be fair, they are facing a tough Zambrano today. It's just sick that we have one hit in the last 10 innings against the Cubs' starting pitchers.

If Rickie Weeks is smart, he tries to drop a bunt in his next at-bat. We need to break Zambrano's rhythym a little.

Never mind.

A couple more hits here and we should see Zambrano self destruct. And the fun thing about that is also getting to watch Sweet Lou go ape sh** as well

Despite the fact that Lee may have done in this rally, it appears Zambrano is beginning to get rattled. Home run, walk, hot shot down the first base line, and another walk. These aren't quality pitches from Zambrano this inning, Lee just bailed him out.

Bad news: Lee took a double away from us. Could have even scored JJ.

GOod news: Z does seem to be starting his meltdown

Man, I don't care much for this "contact" approach from Estrada. Zambrano can't find the plate, and Estrada reaches for a low one on the first pitch.
