Buster Posey question for anyone that may know...

An ACC shortstop turned into a catcher...good stick, great athlete...and a chance to be the number one pick overall...is Buster Posey the second coming of BJ Surhoff? How do they compare? Does Posey have a higher ceiling?

That's exactly who everyone is comparing him too. His ceiling is somewhat limited; people are divided on his power upside, but he seems like a .280 hitter with 15-20 HR power and good defense.

I would still be tempted to take him and not worry about catching for 7+ years if I was a top 4 team...BJ went 1-1 in '85 and there was SICK talent on that board...it will be interesting to see how it plays out...thanks battlekow
