The first pitch to him was middle in, that caused Tejada to scoot back. The second one was same location, just inside enough so that Tejada had no chacne to get out of the way. Pretty obvious.

 

Only in baseball would a team try to punish another by helping them. Just asinine.

Putting somebody on for free ahead of the hottest hitter in baseball is just dumb. Especially since it took McClung two pitches to do it.

I was pretty sure when I saw gameday say in play outs during Berkman's at bat so I left quick and now I come back to this.

My question is why have a guy with control problems bean a guy? and I agree with the question as to why do it in front of Berkman.
