Colorado's starters this weekend were Jorge de la Rosa, Valerio de los Santos, and now Glendon Rusch. Hard to compete when 60% of the rotation comprises Brewer rejects.

For the one that asked, nothing happened to Zambrano. After going 125 and 118 pitches in his last 2 games, Lou decided to shorten him up today. Keep him nice and fresh for his next start vs the Cards.

I would be so angry at Ludwick if I was a Cardinal fan. One of my biggest pet peeves in baseball is swinging at the first pitch after a walk, especially with runners on base. Well Pujols walked to load the bases and Ludwick swings at the first pitch and grounds into an inning ending double play.
