For the second night in a row, we've forced the SP to throw a lot of pitches in the first inning.

 

...not that Davis is doing any better at keeping his pc down.

Seems like Davis has no intention of throwing strikes tonight.

 

I hope we don't have to go to the bullpen early because of it.

Davis throwing less than 30 pitches in the first inning is like a small victory in itself. Nice bomb Prince.

Does Davis need to go full on every batter? He's been effective so far, but we'll be lucky to get 6 innings out of him at this rate.

That's 39 pitches for DD. No damage yet, but I would love it if he could stop going to 3 balls against every single hitter.

Jenkins proves it's not where you hit in the lineup that counts. It's the hitter. He just flat out stinks no matter if he's hitting 3rd, 1st, 7th or wherever. It would be nice to get some production out of your other corner OF. His strikeouts might be warranted if he actually hit for some power here and there. He's a waste of space. I want him gone!
