It's probably not, but it is an important game and Yost is managing it like its spring training.

How many HR's has Capellan surrendered this year? Seems like a lot, considering how many innings he's pitched.

Our pen is looking terrible so far this year. Apart from Wise, Kolb and T-Bow. My patience is running very thin with JDLR, he may become an amazing pitcher someday, but he is not in the right place to work on that. I say ship him to KC. Capellan I have a bit more patience for, but not much more.

Well, using de la Rosa on consecutive days wasn't the best move. He gets another "Baby Seal", but he was set up to fail.

I agree. I think it's time to ship him off. If we could get something for him from KC, i would be happy. Cappellan, on the other hand, just threw a bad pitch.

Capellan is not much more reliable than De la Rosa in my mind, in that he'll give up a ton of homers this year. His heater is just too straight.

i was think the same thing, the way this is going with your luck bonds will hit a hr.

If this team is serious about contending it cannot afford to carry De La Rosa on the pitching staff.

No it's not but if he hadn't thrown 104 pitches through 6 innings he would have still been in the game and they wouldn't have had to use JDLR.
