5/4/06 Giants (Hennessey) @ Brewers (Davis) 12:05 PM CST

There we go Doug!

Finally a quick inning!

[jloos19]

That was a great inning by Doug, good to see.

[wisconsinfan47]

Woo! Davis reaches on the error.

[Harold Hutchison]

His last couple of starts have gotten better. Methinks his April trials are over. He seems to stumble a little when Sheets is out of the rotation.

[Harold Hutchison]

Sharpie gets jobbed by the scorer... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

[markwitx]

somethings brewing this inning.

Unfortunately my gut tells me its a stranded leadoff runner.

Edit: or not, thank you Carlos!

[TheBwaz]

In Lee we trust.

I'm glad your gut is wrong, although Lee is stuck at 2nd...

[markwitx]

carlos is the man 5-0 big double

[Brewers77]

The horse is back after a couple slow days.

[Team Canada]

Ca-ching, ca-ching, goes the Bank of Carlos.

[wisconsinfan47]

Carlos Lee! with 4 of 5 RBI's for the Crew today.

And its 5-0...Let's keep it up on the mound Sharpie! (I hope he isn't tired from running the bases)

[adambr2]

Sharpie probably will be done after the 6th, with 85 pitches in already.

I'm going to call the 7th and 8th for Cappy 2 and Wise.

<-- is eating Webb's burgers for dinner tonight. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

[Harold Hutchison]

Not doing too bad...

Now, if Sharpie can just go a couple more innings...

[davemakovec]

I thought you'd jinxed it when Hall and Jenkins flied out without advancing the runners, but Lee came through.

You're off the hook, for now... /shifty eyes

Well, I don't mind being the beneficiary of his contract year.

[OglivieHomePerm]

Whether it's true or not, games like today just solidify the perception that Carlos Lee is "clutch" and Geoff Jenkins is not.

I'm not certain that he'll make it through this one...

[Oldcity]

Yeah, because Jenkins yesterday was the only one who could hit anything...

[Giraldo8]

Pull Doug now Ned!!!!!

97 pitches and 41 balls is unacceptable

[Harold Hutchison]

E-5's can do that...

[Giraldo8]

Getting behind 3-1, 2-1, 2-0 every batter doesn't help. It has the fielder's on their heels.

[Harold Hutchison]

A double-play would be nice now...

[bigjase]

I could not care less if Davis gets behind every batter 3-0, he still hasn't given up a run. (knock on wood)
