Of course, he was out there LAST night... and there were plenty of other relievers who hadn't pitched last night and were ready (Wise, Kolb...).

Not the best pick from the bullpen.

I think the answer you guys are looking for is the fact that we were up 5-0.

Had it been a 1-3 run game, I think Ned would have gone with a "safer" pick from the bullpen, Cappy 2, Wise, Kolb, etc...

Which we have now. So I could still be right about the 7th going to Cappy 2 and the 8th going to Wise. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah, because Jenkins yesterday was the only one who could hit anything...

I don't want to re-hash the most tired topic at bf.net...but I think these past two games really capture the stereotype that exists around Jenkins and Lee. Jenkins gets 3 hits yesterday, but the brewers score no runs. Lee gets 2 hits today, and drives in 4 runs. It may not be reality, but it's games like this that drive the perception.

Hmmm... I would've traded that run scored by Fielder to still have Todd Greene in the lineup...
