OK, was the duncan slide clean or was his leg high. I just realized that most of you are probably not watching if the game is not on in Milwaukee. It looked like his top leg was high to take Counsell out. Is that a good baseball play or cheap?

He did. Uggh.

Remember when we had a good defense...you know, about 10 days ago.

I think I remember. It seems we aren't doing anything as well as we once were since we lost Rickie. Manny is not a guy we can afford to have blunders behind and Counsell is not the guy you would expect one to come from. At least they only got the one. Not let's HIT THE BALL!!

The slide was fine. Counsell had plenty of time to throw before Duncan got there.

I thought it was a clean, good baseball play.

I wonder how big of an effect Weeks going down has had on this team. If I'm not mistaken we're 4-5 since Weeks went on the DL and we haven't looked like the same team.

This team needs an entire sorority house full of slumpbusters.

Blooper to shallow center field, towards left, no where near Braun. Cameron got a bad jump and then it short hopped off his leg. It was a basehit but it should have been a single.

Cards announcers still saying the Brewers don't know how to win with class. Atleast they got the story about Cam's dad right now. They just still think it's classless.

39 pitches through 2 innings...another short one by manny it seems.

True...but you could argue at least 4 of those were on the missed DP. Not sure about the double either. Our D the last few years has piled up some added stress on our pitchers. I sure hope we don't go down that road again.

Cards announcers are back on the untucking is classless thing. Jesus Christ, let it go already. Now its because they don't have a true leader like TLR who wouldn't let that fly.

"A young club like Milwaukee, they don't have a true leader. You know the Cardinals have a bunch of leaders and the number one leader is Tony LaRussa and you know that wouldn't fly with Tony." Even more from the Cards announcers about the Crew untucking.

Wellemeyer is at 33 after two, and we haven't even threatened. Of course, Prince took almost a third of those pitches.

I can't believe the Cards announcers are still on about that. Especially since they haven't had to see it in this series.

Yeah you guys...let's pump some roids, go beat these guys, shake hands in a classy manner, pound some brews and hop in our cars to practice our alphabet.
