Kerry Wood's "miracle" recovery

Kerry Wood has been throwing as hard as 95mph, and has had two very good rehab starts. He's slated to return "in two weeks, if not sooner".

Should we be concerned? He looks to bolster a bullpen that has had some bright spots in Marmol and Wuertz, and recently regained their closer in Dempster.

He will be relegated to the bullpen. Doctors have told him, that in all essence, he is on a 50 pitch-count for the rest of his career.

At least, that's what I read... and of course, now I can't find the article.

I know what you're saying, but that kind of sounds like he'll have to retire after 50 more in-game throws. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

2 months of healthy Kerry Wood throwing 95 makes them a better team. We would be foolish to not be concerned. maybe all he has is heat though and we can sit and wait.
