Why are people second guessing bringing Villy in? He had not given up a hit in like 9 innings. Seems we are trying to find a way to blame it on Macha when in reality our second hottest relief pitcher just did not have it today

Given his lack of control not sure a bunt is a good idea but Kendall likes to ground in double plays too so it wouldn't have bothered me.

I hate Kendall. Why are we not bunting here? I dont get it, Gonzalez moves so far to the left side of the mound when he pitches, bunt to the right and maybe you get a single.

I don't bunt there either. They are going to need to score two runs the way this game has gone. One run won't do much aside from tie it up until the Braves put up another in the bottom of the 9th. At least if they could have kept runners on they would have had a puncher's chance.

Bunting is a marginal play at best so do we really have to argue about it again? It might be right, it might be wrong but the difference between the two is something like 2-3% chance of winning the game so it just isn't worth it.
