Ken Macha had to mess around by using the known to be wild Seth McClung. Just win the game you're in and worry about not having him available when it occurs. This game is on Macha if we lose, and I hope he accepts full responsibility if we do. Yost-esque managing of the bullpen between the final game of the Atlanta series and this one.

It made no sense to put in Hoffman against Martinez and Shoo. Put in Stetter for that situation. If he doesn't get it done, put in Hoffman. Stupid stupid move by Macha. Just cause it was a save situation doesn't always mean closer time.

I really don't understand why Macha's gone from "we need to protect Trevor" to the Yostian "save situation = Trevor" mentality. He's been used something like 4 times in 5 days now, and hasn't looked good in a few days.

I like Macha a lot, but he should have known better. Stetter should have been in there.
