I know some BF.NET members just lurk in this forum occassionally, so I wanted to create a separate thread to grab anyone's attention that might be interested. We're up to around a dozen guys at this point, would have room for 1-2 more. Post any questions you might have or feel free to PM me.

We play Thursday nights. Last year, I believe game times were 6:45, 7:45, and 8:45. The location is Sijan Field in Bay View. (Roughly Oklahoma and Kinnickinnic.)

I don't have a schedule yet, but we usually start the first week in May and play about 10 weeks.

I don't have the exact number on how much individual fees will be, but it should be somewhere around $35 a person. We (intentionally) don't have an outside sponsor, just the BF.Net affiliation, so players cover a little extra dues than maybe is normal.

Ando, a couple absences over the course of the ~10 week season are totally understandable. I will count you in!

Tony (rightomac) said he would be willing to fill in if we needed him. He works some Thursday nights so couldn't commit to playing every week but if we ended up being short guys there might be a decent chance he could play. Also, like I said before, Dan Casey would be willing to play every week if we still need people or he can just be a sub if we were short on any given week. He filled in for us one game last year. We probably have enough guys now with Ando and possibly Tim's dad but at least we have extra backups with Jaime, Erin, Casey, and Tony.

Nick, when we started up the team ~5 years ago, pretty much everyone got one of these shirts: http://www.cafepress.com/bfdotnet.244417742. Overtime, we've added players that haven't gotten the matching shirt and/or some with shirts no longer wear them. We're probably due to revamp the uni situation, but I don't know that we'll get to it this year. If you're interested in that shirt, go for it (blue or black sleeves) but it's totally optional. You'd fit right in with any typical three-quarter sleeve softball shirt, especially with blue or black sleeves. Or any Brewers gear. Failing that, anything will do. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Nick, for those players returning, I think we have a good idea of what positions suit everyone. Nothing is set in stone. Usually in our pre-season practices we're able to loosely plan that stuff -- happens pretty naturally.

I have one more guy who wants to play and who hasn't played with us before but could be a good add. I asked valpo and he told me to ask everyone else what you guys think. He wouldn't be a fill in it would be someone that would be at every game. It would bring the team fees down and i think he could be a great addition to the team. Let me know what you guys think, so I can give him a heads up.

Were this to happen, I'd refund anyone who has already paid the ~$2 decrease this addition mean to the fee.

Hey guys, its been awhile. Anyways, its looking like I will be moving back to Milwaukee shortly to pursue another job opportunity. I am writing this to see if you needed another guy on the team or as a sub/alternate. Let me know

I'd personally like to bring Brent back because he's a returning player and good too. I think we should cut it off at 13 though. Radman told me his friend no longer wants to play.

Brent, it'd be great to have you back on the team. When are you returning to Milwaukee?
