pretty sure he was the doctor who only got one AB in the majors--a sac fly--and then he became a doctor and bought blue hats for his wife. later in life he saved a little girl from choking on a hot dog after she was pushed off a bleachers by Timothy Busfield.

Reminds me of the Mitch Hedberg joke, "Dr. Scholl makes foot products, right? And he’s a doctor, which means he went to school for a long time.
