It looked like a similar pitch Manny got ahead of Pujols in the fourth inning.

What was wrong with the last 3 pitches? The first one was a strike the second was a borderline pitch and the third should have been a strike. I can't stand inconsistent strike zones. Computerized strike zone please so we don't have to deal with the randomness that is an umpires strike zone.

Bummer of an ending for Parra's night, but leaving him in against Rasmus was probably better than bringing in Bush or Loe to face him. Neither are very good against LHB, and this series notwithstanding, Rasmus is typically bad against LHP.

After those first two walks, Macha should've been looking to the bullpen to face Rasmus, especially since he already has the HR against Parra.

Bush makes me nervous being down 1 run as a flyball pitcher.

Well, it's not Suppan. Get out of this mess, Bushy.

Bush flips a frisbee up there at some point in ths AB? What are the odds?

Idea for a running gimmick at Miller Park: Somebody bust out the old Milwaukee Braves gear, beat a drum and start a "rain dance" as soon as the Brewers are ahead after 4.5 complete. The existence of the roof only amplifies the point being made.

No more racist than the mere existence of the Washington Redskins.

What a battle. Get one more, Dave!

Dammit Parra, I walk away for 15 minutes to do something to come back to the bases loaded, Bush pitching, and a run already in.

Alright, now Macha has lost me. Why are we taking out Bush? I was under the impression Macha put in Bush to get a couple innings to bridge to Hoffman (provided Ax may not be available today due to going multiple innings yesterday).

Ohh my goodness... I had no faith in Bush once that got to 3-2 count.
