Sure seems that way, but it's only once through the lineup. It still baffles me that we get handled by average pitchers like him a lot.

I won't say anything else. It just pisses me off when people say that he's a good SS when he's proven he isn't. Including Bill and Craig.

I am pretty sure they didnt say he was good. They said hes been surprisingly solid. They also said that people have said his range is spotty. I dont think they will go ahead and say, well YB is a terrible defender but that play was pretty good!

Very few people have ever called him a good SS. All some have stated is that he is not as bad as some are making him out to be.

Um Bill.......not it wasn't, dummy. No one ever said that. His glove has never been the question, it's always been his range. Inexcusable to not do your homework.

 

And then YB makes a play like that.......not that he was gonna get anyone, I just wonder what that flop/dive/sprawl was all about.

He had no right to be upset with Lucroy there. Lucroy set up outside, and Narveson's pitch ended up on the inside corner.

On the replay, it looked like he didn't go all the way back, but it's hard to say because none of the camera angles, not one, seem to show Wallace's feet at any time.
