I won't say anything else. It just pisses me off when people say that he's a good SS when he's proven he isn't. Including Bill and Craig.
I am pretty sure they didnt say he was good. They said hes been surprisingly solid. They also said that people have said his range is spotty. I dont think they will go ahead and say, well YB is a terrible defender but that play was pretty good!

Bud Norris all-star?

Lets not turn the IGT into the YB thread....lets just leave it as a great play by him that time

Very few people have ever called him a good SS. All some have stated is that he is not as bad as some are making him out to be.

Bud Norris is not an average pitcher. He actually has pretty good stuff.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Not a knock on Betncourt, but a commentary on what Schroeder spouts.

"The book on him coming in was that he'll make a lot of errors".

Um Bill.......not it wasn't, dummy. No one ever said that. His glove has never been the question, it's always been his range. Inexcusable to not do your homework.

And then YB makes a play like that.......not that he was gonna get anyone, I just wonder what that flop/dive/sprawl was all about.

Ugly inning for Narvy. TERRIBLE baserunning mistake completely bailed him out there.

Hmm.......that must be how opposing fans see Carlos Gomez. The guy that's ruining our run scoring chances with awful baserunning.

Was Wallace called out because he left 2nd base too early? It seemed to me like he left at about the right time.
On the replay, it looked like he didn't go all the way back, but it's hard to say because none of the camera angles, not one, seem to show Wallace's feet at any time.

Since there wasn't a real huge argument from both him and the manager I would have to imagine it was the correct call

and it was
