Is that it for Gomez this year?
Depends on the severity... possibly. Could be back by late Sept best case.

Obviously Roenicke won't load the bases. Stupid.

Edit: Ok so it worked once. Still say you walk to load the bases here to set up play at plate.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

I have been so/so on RR. Some things I like, some I don't. But this has got me so fired up, I can't even tell you. To hide behind the chicken bleep mantra that Krod/Ax must pitch every 8th and 9th inning in save situations. How can you not be watching the game, and have a feel for the fact Narvy wasn't gutting it through 7, he was cruising.

Even if Krod,Ax sailed through their innings, it's using them when you don't need to. Now you get the worst outcome, a loss and shot in the gut.

Bad base running, bad defense, bad managing... I just hate losing games that way.

And what happens if Narveson gives up runs in the 8th? Then RR is an idiot for not using K-Rod. The double standards on here are starting to make me wonder if I'm on jsonline.com/stupididiotcomments

I guess I should say that I do not necessarily blame RR for this game. You can't anticipate the "error" by Prince or that K-Rod didn't have his control tonight. It's not like he brought in Loe. But it is my very strong personal conviction that you leave Narveson in.

That's all, I'm letting it go now.

Could they possibly pull the miracle and get out of this?

Well this is looking much better all of sudden, apparently only the Brewers use the contact play every time a runner is on 3rd.
