Weeks just not the same on the basepaths.

I was yelling "take a pitch!" to Yuni. I would have cried had that not gotten through. Good job Yuni.

Scratch across 1 more this inning and get Gomez in center so we can keep the game close.

Deep breath.

Carpenter's definitely not looking sharp tonight. The question is can Yo/bullpen keep the Cards off the board enough to give the offense a chance to come back? I am voting 'no'.

Yuni!!!!

Do you pinch hit yo?

No. Even with that first inning I still trust him more than our other options. Plus he's not a terrible hitter. Gotta get him through 5.

stop saying that gallardo had to get 5 outs that inning. Pujols crushed that double, and it would have been a double against just about any defense.

don't forget. just win ONE of these three games and we're back to having homefield advantage. get off the ledge people...

None of the pitchers can get anyone out, the chances of winning a game there seems pretty small.

we have a lineup too!

it's baseball. each game is closer to a coin flip than people seem to believe.

there was also Jay's flare and the missed fly ball to Hart...since he actually did need to record 3 outs to finish the inning, the two I just mentioned add up to 5 outs
sorry. combining the people saying gomez would have caught everything with the people saying 5 outs were necessary. my bad, didn't mean to get snarky...at this point it's a little too easy to do that though. *bows in forgiveness*

still doesn't let Yo off the hook, he pitched poorly that inning.

It wouldn't have been so bad if RR would of stated something other than playing Kotsay because of a hunch.

Nice little comeback here. Few runs, feel better, yer gonna need to step up the defense though. BIG TIME and from recent games, this won't be easy.
