RR could manage the All Star Game

Right now LaRussa is supposed to manage the NL in the All-Star Game but if he declines (due to retirement) it would move to the 2nd highest seed, in this case RR of the Brewers.

The starter will stay in for 6 innings no matter what... (although if the starter were Carpenter, I'd be ok with that).

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

liveforoctober[/b]]Kotsay is going to make the all-star team and start for a n injured Shane Victorino healthy Matt Kemp in center because Kemp is too young and unproven with little to no scrappyness or veteranness and bat lead off cleanup because that's where the CF was going to bat in RR's lineup

I'm definitely not a LaRussa fan, but it would be kind of cool to see a retired Hall of Fame manager come out of retirement for the All Star Game. Of course, LaRussa would somehow find a way to have his pitcher throw at guys on his own team if they're Brewers, Reds or Cubs.

"The most successful (people) know that performance over the long haul is what counts. If you can seize the day, great. But never forget that there are days yet to come."
