The fact that he played/follows hockey is so amusing to me. Nothing to do with his race and everything to do with his personality.

Adam McCalvy put up a blog post about this, complete with a couple of decent stabs at a hockey-related nickname: Tony Powerplay, & Igor Plushki.

 

He also included another pic of Morgan & his jersey, & the Sharks didn't disappoint on the nameplate...

I definitely buckled and made the impulse purchase of a custom Plush Sharks shirsey. Had been wanting to get a Brewers one, but the NHL ones are about $10 cheaper so it made sense to me.

Acording to Morgan's twitter account, he has been down at thespring training site for 2 weeks, he says he like to get there early, thats a nice thing to see.
