The Brewers can be creative with that signing pool. If they wanted to, they could allot most of the money to one player they felt really strongly about and then targeted a bunch of guys willing to sign for low 6-figures.

 

I do wish they would combine the two pools between the international signing budget and the draft one. They can find some creative ways to allocate money to make it more even. The system's not perfect, but I still do believe it helped level the playing field since players are still making their money.
