Intentional unintensional walk costs the Brewers the lead.

I don't think that was the case with Punto up. Gonzalez just screwed up by not being able to throw strikes to a scrub hitter.

Punto is a career .248 hitter with 16 HR in a little under 2,800 career at bats. You're afraid to go after him????

Still can't get over that terrible squeeze call with Segura and Braun to hit. Hopefully the middle of the order can get one (or more) this inning

Bad call by RR to bunt, bad execution by Segura, stupid intentional walk, groove a fastball down the middle with 2 srtikes, missed catch by Gomez...wow that's a lot of bad baseball in one inning.

Not an awesome call but he also needs to put a bat on that ball.

The fact is that no batter can always put the bat on the ball, which is something most managers consider when deciding not to obsessively call for sueeze after squeeze.

Which has worked a ton for him?

It works a good amount out of the time, but these squeeze plays always limit our opportunities to put multiple runs on the board. RRR is overly concerned with scoring one run at the expense of multiple run innings.

"And now Rickie Weeks, who has been waiting a long time for a big hit."

Not as long as we have, Brian.

holy mother of pearl weeks...

im starting to feel bad for the guy. he just looks so hopeless at the plate. its the same routine every at bat. 0-2 count, ball, maybe another ball, swing and a miss at a breaking or a groundout.
