#yankees interested in return for mark reynolds. need INF help. twins, brewers, angels, #rays among other possibilities.

In addition to being an awful defender, he's lost the power that made him semi-valuable. Pass.

Reynolds for Weeks? OK. Though Weeks would likely go onto to have an All Star season for the Yankees.

EDIT: Ahh, thought Yankees picked up his option and looking to move him. As a FA? No.

UUUUGGGHHHH!

Hopefully the yanks will just sign him and we can move on.

My answer is an emphatic NO!

Besides as this BP article uncovered last winter, Mark Reynolds may actually be blind.

That article was hilarious. I don't think Reynolds would be that terrible to have on the team. He can split time between 1st and 3rd and soft platoon with Morris. For as bad as he's been the last few seasons his OPS+ has been right around 100. I can't imagine he'd be getting anything more than a minor league deal at this point anyway since the FA firstbase market is pretty much done.

[Warning Track Power]

Maybe on a minor league invite to camp to soft platoon with Ike Davis when he is acquired. A power bat off the bench never hurts given the current status of the Brewers bench with Gindl/Schafer, Maldonado, Weeks/Gennett, Bianchi. Just not a lot of pop there, even if this pop is blind.
