Teheran was down under 90 MPH on his FB to start the inning... 87.88 to Gennett, then a 90 to Gallardo. Time to take advantage of a tiring pitcher.

The replays at Miller Park were very very inconclusive. No where's near definitive enough to overturn. Hopefully what the umps saw in review (and on tv?) were more legit to lead to that ruling.

The throw beat Braun by 1/2 a step.

Braun was out by a lot from the TV angles.

Great play from Ramirez. Nice inning from Kintzler.

Matt Lepay expressed confidence in MLB during the interminable Badger review on Saturday (which shows how long it must have felt given the game's magnitude), and, I gotta say, that was pretty quick and easy. Of course, not all challenges will be as clear.

Badger mutual insurance runs, anyone?

awesome...RR pinch hits with Weeks off the bench for the first time this season - at which time the manager just brings in a righty reliever to face Weeks and the other 19 RH hitters in the Brewer lineup following him.

This team really does need to get some LH pop, and no, Francisco wasn't the answer

Happy opening day, everybody.

Whew, thank God that was foul.

Segura with a nice play in the hole last AB. He looks pretty good, even if the arm is not 100%.

So far, so good with one inning to go. Gallardo looked good, despite the usual high pitch count. Hitters, overall, have looked good today. Many of the outs have been hard hit, or so it seems to me.
