Gutsy baserunning by Segura nets the Brewers a run.

A-Ram looks great early. Stay healthy big fella.

The Brewers seem really aggressive early in the count this year. They've only drawn 10 walks so far, 26th in MLB.

Sure would be nice to have Braun in this line-up. I am smelling an extensive DL stint in the near future.

Only fitting that Reynold's first hit as a Brewer is a HR!

Interesting Gindl not playing in game 2 of doubleheader despite being the best outfielder. I wonder if they'll send down Gennett just to cover the outfield

Maldonado just had one of the greatest throws to second for a caught stealing I've ever seen.

That was beautiful. I'm hoping someone somewhere will turn that into a gif.

I love this Brewers team. If the pitching can stay solid the rest of the year, I expect at least a wild card spot for the Brew Crew. The scary thing is that Braun and Segura haven't even warmed up. Wait until the lineup is 100%.

That's about the 4th grounder to take a weird hop. That one on Ramirez, the Ramirez hit, and the one up the middle that Segura botched that Peralta should have had

Why were 4 of the runs earned? The 3-run homer shouldn't have happened

The 3 runs in the 3rd are unearned but they ruled the "error" on Segura in the 2nd a base hit.

edit. Nashville's game 1 post was here as well, cripes.

The box score says 4 of 5 runs we're earned. To me all the 3rd inning runs should be unearned

First of all what a stupid call to send Gomez home. Second, Roenicke needs to challenge that. Pierzynski was blocking plate and Gomez beat the throw. Even if the Brewers lose the challenge, it still needs to be challenged.
