I would love to see Segura stop reaching for the ball and rolling everything over. Maybe a few line drives here and there would make me feel better about what he's doing at the plate.

Braun down to an .828 OPS. If this is the player we're getting from now on, I'd trade him.

He had a 900-ish OPS through the first 2 months of the season, and has had a pretty bad first two weeks of June. May want to give it some time before you jump off the ship.

I'm not "jumping off the ship" but you can't watch him and then look at the rest of his contract and not be concerned. It'd be one thing if he had a good eye and was just hitting into tough luck but he's looked like crap while swinging at a bunch of crap.

I mean, who knows what the future has in store, but I wouldn't get so knee-jerky based on a slump. His OPS was .962 two weeks ago.

Here's a big concern for Braun. He's swinging at 40.6% of pitches out of the zone. His plate discipline has been complete crap. It may not stay like that but I said if this is the new Braun swinging at all the garbage they throw his way, it would be time to cut ties and trade him.

It looks like Braun just isn't 100%. He's not immune to a slump, and I don't know whether he's in one or not, but to me - it looks like he's just not swinging the bat with authority (or confidence).

I'm more concerned about Segura.

Even GREAT players have bad stretches. If Braun hadn't hit well for the first few months of the year, I'd be concerned. He's hitting poorly right now, and he's pressing. He'll get through it.

As for Braun, he even admitted yesterday that his swing has been terrible lately. He understands what's going on. Again, who knows what is to come, but I feel good that as long as he is relatively healthy, he'll be fine.

Wooten kind've stinks too. Can we ever get some hard throwers in our pen? Sick of seeing 90mph FBs out of basically everyone not named Smith.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yes let's trade Braun because he entered a slump. While we're at it let's call Yuni B and have him play right field.

Yes, that's totally what I was saying. :rolleyes

Why is Wooten still in this game? Whose bright idea is to let a pitcher who loaded up the bases with 0 outs stay in the game?

The card says Wooten gets the 8th when down a run.

Only took him giving up 3 runs to get him out of the game. Meanwhile, the bases are still loaded and he is still waiting to record an out. Great job, Rob!

And then let's fire all of our coaches, flip the starting rotation and use Nashville's current rotation, and then call into 670 The Score.

This is like a bad car wreck...just can't stop watching. Even worse its a slow day at the station. Oh well. Happy fathers day to all the other Brewerfan dads out there!

Not to belabor this, but Marco Estrada's last 6 starts:

34 2/3 IP

27 ER

13 HR

7.00 ERA

When, Ron, are you going to drop him from the rotation, especially when we have somebody willing to step in @ AAA in Jimmy Nelson. When?
