According to Kirk Gibson a few minutes ago on sports radio here in Arizona, Miley is being pushed back to tomorrow and going tonight for the Diamondbacks is someone named Mike Bolsinger.

He actually pitched against the Brewers when Arizona was in Milwaukee so the Brewers should be somewhat familiar with him. Gave up four runs in 5 innings and took the loss.

Why doesn't it surprise me in a game that our pitcher has a sub 3.00 ERA vs their 6.00+ ERA that we'll get blown out? Just doesn't make sense, yet it always seems to go against the Brewers.

I'm not sure the first pitch swinging is really what we should be doing. Two innings in a row we've made two outs inside of 5 pitches. This guy just simply doesn't have that good of stuff. Make him work and he'll make mistakes.

First inning just a killer. Lohse was ahead 0-2 and hit a guy, then 0-2 and walked another and both of those runs scored. Then a pop up that fell.

Herrera, Lohse and Gennett due up. I'm not expecting much, but at least maybe we can make him throw more than 8-10 pitches this inning.

I haven't been watching intently, so I haven't been observant of the actual pitches, but I don't mind swinging at first pitches if they are good pitches to hit.

Yes. Why is it so predictable?? I'd like to see our stats versus pitchers with ERAs north of five or six. But they'd be terrible.
