Lucroy hit his second bomb of the night, yes. We had second and third one up, one out. They threw behind Braun, then beaned him on the next pitch. The Arizona dugout went nuts and Gibson even high fived the pitcher after getting ejected. Lurcoy came up and on the first pitch hit a monster grand slam to CF.

I don't like a lot of things Roenicke does, and I honestly wish we had a better manager, but I'm SO happy we don't get involved in the stupid retaliation games, and that Roenicke doesn't let himself get suckered into that kind of idiocy.

I'll have to watch the MLB videos or see if anyone has the Arizona feed online somewhere. I'd really like to see the Arizona dugout after the Lucroy HR. The thing is, putting Braun on first base there isn't necessarily the worst move, but going about it the way he did (and his reaction)....I can't wait to see his presser tonight if they lose.

 

I know Gibson pretty much hates Braun, and has for quite awhile now. Part of me wonders if he took some real enjoyment out of that. The catcher made the signal, so that call pretty clearly came from the dugout. Not once, but twice.

2. Ump immediately walks out and was like what the hell was that?

3. Pitch 2 nails Braun to load bases

4. Pitcher gets tossed immediately.

5. Dbags dugout goes nuts high fiving the pitcher like he won the game. Including a fist bump from Gibson.

I literally lol'ed after reading your post. I'm still fired up over all of that - it was just too great for the Brewers. Glad Braun only got beaned on the fanny - if he had to get beaned anywhere.

Im watching the FSN AZ feed and they havent shown the dugout after the GS but they have shown Gibby fist bumping Marshall several times and all the high fives in the dugout
