Lohse is at the age where the bottom could fall out on him any year. Maybe this will be that year.

 

But Brian was just telling me what great shape Lohse is in and how he looks nothing like 36!

Brian must be confusing Lohse with all the college basketball he has been doing as of late.

Good AB by Braun, despite the result. He looked just fine. Turned on the ball well, hammered one foul.

 

Still has a weakness judging those outside corner pitches, but hey, I can't hit 400 foot bombs, so I guess we're even.

Not having that big bat off the bench is going to hurt us late in games when we have big deficits like this. There's no threat on our bench that we can put up there with a few runners on late that can tie up the game.

There is a silver lining to all of this:

 

At least the Brewers have bleachers in which those Rockies' homers can land.
