I missed the replay on that one. Looked like it was redirected in real time

Maybe it was. I didn't get a good look either

I seen this story a lot in the last 2 years.

Score of the first 5 minutes and never score again.

The chances have been there again tonight. 26 SOG so far through 2 periods. But Ivankovic is pretty solid in goal.

He's been the difference.

You can win much without a good one.

Crowd size with reportedly 15.5 k a new Kohl center record for hockey.

It was a great crowd and I really have to commend the students this year they've been very very good.

He was the difference Saturday.  He had a few saves by the toe right on the goal line.

We have lost a few games because of goalie play.

Rarely do we have the better goalie.

I can not get over how much better the top of the Western Conference Central is than any other division in NHL hockey. Wild are 7-2-1 over their last 10. The sole blemishes coming via consecutive post-Olympic hiccups vs Utah on the back end of a road B2B after taking the Avs in Denver 5-2 out of the break. They then lost at home 3-1 (empty netter) with the Blues Hofer playing like Gold Medal Helley. No matter they come out last night and throttle the East's best in Tampa Bay 5-1.

Despite going 7-2-1 they've lost 4 points. Dallas is on a 10 Game heater. In fairness, the Stars haven't really played any of the elite of elite in this heater whatsoever - still; a 10 Game heater in any professional League is no trifling thing. Wild beat the Stars 5-2 in early December back in Minnesota - the Last time they played. Stars beat Wild 5-2 in Dallas in the first week of the season. Wild are a MUCH better team and a much different team now. None the less, it's insane they are going H2H in their first post-season series. I don't like it for either team. They should be playing each other for a chance at the WCF.

Anyone know who's ticket would get the playoff game if they get one?

Friday or Saturday?

Face Off package, so Friday. Saturday would get a Semifinal game if they somehow host.

Badgers had about the best off week they could have hoped for.  Moved up in the NPI with BC getting swept.  UConn lost some and I believe Augustana did as well. A tie or win should lock up a spot in the National tourny.  1 point to host a home game in the quarters against OSU.

I usually throw darts on Wednesday, but if the Badgers host next week I will probably go to that one.

The playoff structure is awful.  If they are going to keep this structure I'd prefer they go to a 3, 2, 1, point scale instead of 2, 1, 1.

Yeah I don't think that's happening. I'm not 100% sold they're even going to get a home game because they have to either get a point at Penn State or hope Notre Dame can get a point from OSU.

Badgers could beat anyone...they could also easily get beaten by a bottom half team. Lol.

I did not realize it was a Thursday Friday series.

That locks the playoff schedule for next week.

Huge results for Bucky tonight. 7-3 W at PSU and ND took OSU to OT. Automatic Quarterfinal Home ice. Gotta love it!

Should also lock up an NCAA tournament at large bid as well.

Really blitzing Penn State again tonight.

Up 4 zip halfway through the second.

Nice to be playing their best hockey going into the playoffs.

Montgomery gets a game DQ for the 2nd straight night but in his defense he was retaliating for a a blatant elbow to the side of his head while down on the ice.

Both players should have been DQd

Probably some maturing to do there but he has some talent. Nice to get the win again.
