That was a wide open net. Really frustrating.

These type of games never end well.

Either give up a softy or a defenseman falls down for a breakaway.

Yeah it feels like it could be 4-1 right now.

Nice to see the Badgers win. I'm a Minnesota State grad, so hoping they can upset WMU tomorrow.

As a friend said, if you're emotionally invested college hockey playoffs are the most intense sporting experience you can have, save maybe World Cup penalties. All the drama of the NHL playoffs, with single-elimonation stakes.

Houser has been Jekyll and Hyde this season.  Some of that is attributed on the defensive play in front of him.  Hopefully, he can stay hot.

Yea, that goal last night was pretty soft.

What a draw for Bucky. THAT team was 6th in the nation? They were awful. Slow, generated hardly any chances, and 0 creative play. The only thing they did well was block shots. Game should have been 6/7-0 without any empty netters, honestly.

I think the best we can hope for with Hauser is that he gained some confidence playing yesterday and it continues. He did make a couple nice stops yesterday but he didn’t face much pressure from that team.

Sparty will be different. MSU has not been playing their best either lately, so hopefully we have a shot to pull out a win.

I see its espn2 on Saturday. I’ll have to see if spectrum will cancel my newly purchased bundle that included espnU. Ha

Yep,  looks like 3:30 on ESPN 2. It does suck that games are televised on so many different networks throughout the year.

Should be a fun game against MSU for the Badgers. Fun Final 8.

3 Big Ten teams, plus the old WCHA group of Duluth, Denver, and North Dakota. Throw in Quinnipiac and Western Michigan, and that's a nice mix.

Hockey seems to have come through conference realignment okay, though I absolutely miss the days when every weekend featured Wisconsin-Minnesota or Gophers-St. Cloud State or UMD-Mankato. Hard to beat those atmospheres.

Bet nobody misses the trips to Alaska, though.

Yeah MSU has a huge advantage between the pipes. Maybe we catch a few lucky bounces.
